In-game cheat sheet, items, the current set and your own comp notebook.

  • Every round ask three things: am I at an interest breakpoint (10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 gold)? Is my health safe? Can I improve my board right now?
  • Interest: you earn +1 gold for every 10 gold you hold, up to +5 at 50 gold. Spending below a breakpoint costs you future gold.
  • Basics: the shop shows 5 units, a reroll costs 2 gold and buying XP costs 4 gold for 4 XP. Three copies of a unit make its next star level.
  • Each champion holds up to 3 items. Put damage items on your main carry and defensive items on your frontline.
  • Strategies: slow roll keeps your interest while rolling; fast 8 saves gold and levels up to reach level 8 for 4 and 5-cost units; reroll stays at a low level to 3-star cheap units.
  • Play what the game gives you: your first components and strongest units should decide your comp. Commit around stage 3 to 4 and avoid holding units for too many comps.
  • Scout every stage, protect your health early and aim for consistent top 4 finishes: they raise your rank more than risky top 1 attempts.

In TFT each roll shows 5 units. Your chance to find one depends on the shop odds for your level, the copies left and the size of the pool. Enter those numbers to estimate your chances over several rolls and decide when to roll or save gold.
